Designed by Eclettico Design, a brand of the Lombardini22 group, which collaborated with HI LITE Next on the lighting design, Orablu is a private residence conceived as a fluid environment that evokes a welcoming sense of perceptual continuity, guided by the selection of fine finishes and custom-made design.

Milano, ItalyThe diffusion of light, discreet technology, the choice of materials, and the layout of the spaces all contribute to achieving this goal, shaping an elegant environment that recalls the aesthetics of a boat. The need to make the most of every volume made it possible to design a flexible domestic experience, an alternation of spaces that communicate with one another naturally, without clear separation. The purpose of the rooms evolves, as spaces are no longer conceived based on function but on the sensations they convey. Thus, the living area interacts with the kitchen and lounge, and the bedroom gradually blends into the bathroom area, creating a shared space of intimacy.
The interiors of Residenza Orablu are defined by a seamless perceptual continuity between the various spaces. Designed not only according to their function but also to the sensations they convey, the environments blend harmoniously: the living area interacts with the kitchen and lounge, while the bedroom gradually fades into the bathroom area, creating a shared zone of intimacy. The skilful use of glass and transparencies, marble, brass finishes, and wooden boiserie painted with an iron-based coating gives the spaces depth and three-dimensionality. This combination of materials and colours evokes the blue hour, the moment of the day between sunset and twilight, when natural light creates a serene and relaxing atmosphere, perfect for retreating “at anchor.”
